Managing cache
How to clear checkout, members area, and store page cache
When to clear cache?
ggCheckout uses cache so your pages load faster. After editing a checkout, product, or members area, the cache is updated automatically. In rare cases, you may need to clear it manually.
Checkout cache
Clear when the checkout page doesn't reflect recent changes (price, image, fields)
Members area cache
Clear when modules or lessons don't appear updated for students
Store cache
Clear when the public store page doesn't show updated products
Payments cache
Refresh when the sales list in the dashboard seems outdated
How to clear cache:
Checkout cache:
- Go to "Checkouts" in the dashboard
- Click the menu (three dots) on the desired checkout
- Select "Clear cache"
- Wait for the success confirmation
Members area cache:
- Go to "Products" in the dashboard
- Open the product and click "Members area"
- Click the "Clear cache" button at the top of the editor
- Both backend and frontend cache will be cleared simultaneously
Important tips:
Automatic cache
In most cases, the cache is automatically updated when saving changes. Manual clearing is only needed in exceptional situations.
Propagation time
After clearing the cache, changes may take a few seconds to be visible across all regions.
Browser cache
If clearing from the dashboard doesn't help, ask the customer to clear their browser cache or open in an incognito tab.
